Step 1. Power on the camera

Step 2. Enabling the WIFI feature on Camera

After you have enabled the wifi feature on the camera, go to the WIFI network option and select ‘SSID WIFI info from above’. Next, follow the same process in Mac. You can continue the same process by going to the WIFI network option, and selecting ‘SSID WIFI information from above.

The password will be required by your computer. Enter the password you saw on the camera screen, and then click ‘Join’.

Step 4. Pairing both the devices

On the camera screen, you will see a message saying “Start pairing devices”. You will now be prompted to click OK.

To initiate the pairing process, EOS would require a camera. Select ‘Canon EOS R’ and?Connect. A popup window will appear on your MAC screen stating ‘Check the camera LCD and complete network settings.

The prompt will appear on your Mac screen. However, the LCD camera would display ‘XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX’. Connect to the computer. Select OK.

Step 5. Connection established

Now the devices are connected. The transfer of your favourite videos and images can be done easily.
